Lose weight without joining a gym Part 1

1. Weigh yourself. Now multiply your weight by 10. Let’s call this number Calorie Base 1. Now multiply your weight by 12.5. Let call this number Calorie Base 2. Now your goal is to eat 3-4 days out the week at Base 1 and 3-4 days at Base 2. This is called Calorie Zigzagging. This way your body never adjusts to a calorie baseline.
2. Remember your body is extremely efficient and will adjust and adapt to whatever you eat every day. So if you consistently took in 2000 calories everyday your body would adjust the metabolism to 2000 calories a day. So you may lose weight on 2000 calories a day diet for a while and then you will stop losing weight after a certain time. This is called a plateau. By zigzagging we will delay /prevent this plateau.
3. Your calorie intake will need to be recalculated after every 5 pounds of fat loss.
4. Use the website fitday.com to log your daily intake. If you own an iphone you can use apps like LoseIt to keep track of your weight as well as calorie intake.
5. Make sure you walk/jog/run for at least 30-45 minutes a day. 1 mile = 100-110 calories burnt. So if you walk 2 miles a day it will take you up to 45 minutes. But if you could jog 2 miles in less than 30 minutes followed by a 5 minute walk.
